This summer I had the occasion to do some digging in my backyard-landscaping. While digging, my shovel hit upon an object. I unearthed a box that had not seen the light for an untold age. Opening the top of the box revealed a silver manuscript with turquoise inlays. I carried it in to my house for further inspection. For five months I studied this manuscript without much headway. The intricate letters had a vague familiarity and I thought, based upon the appearance of the manuscript, that it might be reformed Navajo. I finally relented and sought my wife's council. As it happens-she is a Jumble expert and had recently changed her eyeglass prescription. She looked at what appeared to be the title and her translation was startling-for what she told me seemed to link together two of the greatest science-fiction writers of the 19th and 20th centurys. Her translation? I Moron
